when purchasing a candle you want to check all labels. making sure it states "soy wax". another label to check is where it is made. a majority of candles sold at shopping malls are made in different countries. meaning the soy wax is not regulated. majority of candles are also made with paraffin wax which is extremely toxic and creates lots of soot. if you want to know what wax is burning in your home. its best to purchase candles from your small local candle shop.
